I will follow these instructions. In addition, I will...*Protect my body, especially my eyes, face, and hands, and do not harm others while
conducting laboratory procedures.Note: You need to act very responsibly, especially in a laboratory setting. If you act inappropriately
you will receive a zero for the laboratory, and have detention to complete the laboratory.
Any harmful acts will be reported directly to the high school office.
You need to have all your labs done satisfactorily in order to be able to take the Regents Exam.In order to pass this class, you need to both have a passing average and pass the Regents Exam.

There will be times when I will ask you to place them out of the way during laboratory time.
You will often need to gather glass materials. We need to make sure to minimize any tripping hazards.
Please keep your space neat and clear of obstructions.

Note: In the back of the room there is a fire extinguisher and an eyewash.
Everyone should know how to use this safety equipment. Please watch the videos below.

Note: First and foremost, notify your teacher immediately about your concerns.
There is also a call button on the wall next to the door that calls the high school office.
In case of an emergency, please use this button to call for help.
